Everyone talks about eating a balanced diet. Well, I have been eating a balanced diet my entire life.
I have found it very easy to eat and maintain a good balance of large portions of food.
Never wanting to be unfair to my food, I have been an equal opportunity type of eater to the kinds of food I ate usually always eating an even and balanced amount of cookies, cheesecake, chips, cheese curds, cheeseburgers, pasta, pizza, ice cream, fast food and other types of food that tasted so very yummy in my tummy and made me very happy.
My unhealthy fattening food friends have seemed to always have been a part of my life especially during the Holidays, Birthday celebrations, NFL football games and other special events for my family and I.
Don’t worry, I even invited my fattening unhealthy food friends over when I was anxious, manic, depressed, bored, feeling lonely and many other reasons as well. My fattening food friends were my comfort making me feel better and happier while I was eating and enjoying their company.
Unfortunately, after I was done eating all of that fattening food and eating too much of it, I would sometimes feel worse because it made me feel sad and disappointed in myself for eating all of that food.
Making matters even worse, I have gained too much weight causing me to become obese actually.
The distribution of my weight is uneven having more weight in some areas than others.
I am lopsided and look like a round lopsided popsicle icicle. I wish I could and would melt some of me away. Well, soon my lopsided popsicle icicle will be melting away and becoming smaller in all of the right places.
My success began yesterday and I am very happy and excited about it. Today is day number 2 of my healthy eating life style change. So far so good
I am following an awesome diet plan from my new book and diet program called “Extreme Fat Smash Diet” and it is what I need to help me lose weight and get healthy. I wrote a previous post explaining more about the book and my diet plan.
A balanced diet is one that gives your body the nutrients it needs to function correctly. In order to get the proper nutrition from your diet, you should obtain the majority of your daily calories from:
- fresh fruits
- fresh vegetable
- whole grains
- lean proteins
The new beginning of anything gives me hope. I have hope and faith in this diet plan and in myself. I know that I can lose this weight. I have to do it this time. The time is now and today is the day. One day at a time.
I need strength, dedication, determination and perseverance for the long hard work and process ahead of me. I will soon have a healthy and beautiful new and improved body and a beautiful new and improved me! Yay!
I am a strong person and have survived many struggles in my life living with my bipolar disorder. I can tackle this problem head on, making positive changes in my life again and win. I can survive this too.
I will try not to bore you with this entire process of mine but I will give you occasional updates on the success of my diet as the days go by.
I believe it will be good and therapeutic for me to have friends here on WordPress and the blogging community to share my progress with. It will help hold me accountable with my progress and journey of my new diet and healthy eating life style changes.
