It Depends on Who You Ask

Today I took a breath of air.

Some people may not notice,

but it depends on who you ask.

Today I got out of bed.

Some people may not think that is a big deal,

but it depends on who you ask.

Today I took a shower for the second time in two weeks, because I was able to and I wanted to.

Some people may think that is strange,

but it depends on who you ask.

Today I have not had any suicidal thoughts or feelings.

Some people may never think about things like that,

but it depends on who you ask.

Today I am happy to be alive.

Some people may take that for granted,

but it depends on who you ask.

Today I have accomplished all these things.

I know each one of them is important, significant, beautiful, amazing,

and truly a miracle from God,

but it depends on who you ask.

God saved my life again. Praise be to God.

I get down on my knees, with my arms outstretched high in awe, wonder, amazement and unbelievable thankfulness for the beautiful amazing grace of God.

Hallelujah! Hallelujah! Hallelujah!

I need to remain positive and stay away from negativity in my mind and in my life at all times.

With God as a priority in my life, I pray I will have more positive thoughts.

I pray I will have joy, love and peace fill my heart and spirit.
